Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how JoinIn processes information when authorised participants use the LeadIndia mobile application and related event services. JoinIn is an event-participation platform operated for event organisers and their approved participants.

Information we process

• Account and identity information, including name, official email address, participant status and event access.
• Profile and event preferences, including areas of interest and information participants choose to add to their profile.
• User content, including feed posts, comments, replies, reactions, mentions, photos and videos submitted within an event.
• Device and technical information required for security, diagnostics, session management and notification delivery, such as device identifiers, push tokens, app version and basic usage logs.
• Event activity required to provide requested features, such as notices viewed, notifications, event interactions and support requests.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate participants, manage approvals and event access, provide event content and communications, operate the Live Feed, deliver notifications, support safety and help-desk functions, protect the service, troubleshoot problems and meet legal obligations.

Event organisers and service providers

Authorised event administrators may access participant information and event activity as needed to operate their event. We may use contracted hosting, email, notification, storage and technical service providers that process information only to provide their services to JoinIn. We do not sell personal information.

User-generated content

Content posted to an event feed may be visible to other approved participants in that event. Participants should avoid posting sensitive personal information. Organisers may moderate, hide or remove content to enforce event rules, safety requirements and applicable law.

Retention and security

Information is retained for as long as necessary to operate the event, maintain legitimate business and security records, and satisfy legal requirements. We use administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, but no electronic service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, participants may request access, correction or deletion of their personal information, or object to certain processing. Some records may be retained when required for security, dispute resolution or legal compliance. Participants may also manage notification permissions through their device settings.

Children

JoinIn is intended for authorised event participants and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly permit children under 13 to use social features.

International processing

Information may be processed in countries where JoinIn, the relevant event organiser or contracted service providers operate. Appropriate safeguards are applied where required by law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
